Shark slaughtering has become so popular in recent years that at least 30% of the species in the Bahamas are now endangered. In over-fished waters, sharks are being killed for their skin, fins and meat—and to support tourism.
Profit gain is not a valid reason to slaughter animals and threaten entire ecosystems. Humans should take responsibility for damage caused to the environment and defend its creatures, not endanger them to the point of near extinction. Write to the Bahamian government and sign the petition asking to end the shark slaughter.Go to http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/clickToGive/campaign.faces?siteId=3&campaign=SharkSlaughter&ThirdPartyClicks=ETA_091311_SharkSlaughter_F for more information and to sign the petition!
